A Wonderful Web Resource

If anyone is interested of good, public-domain texts of the great thinkers of the Western tradition, one great place to find them is The Online Library of Liberty. I've personally used it to access the prose works of John Milton, the dialogues of Plato, and the treatises of Cicero, and I've barely scratched the surface. The menu on the left column of the opening screen lets users search by author or by period, and the e-text .pdf files are searchable in recent versions of Acrobat Reader.

I know some people, in response to my first "Subjective, Objective, True" selection, expressed interest in these sorts of things. At OLL, the texts are free and the translations are readable, even if a bit Victorian. At any rate, enjoy!

Thanks for this link Nate. I can't wait to use it!

Also, I'm hoping to get a chance to read part 2 and 3 of your "objective truth" series sometime this week, then hopefully I'll have something of at least a little substance to add to the conversation.

I figure a blog dedicated to conservatism ought at least to have some links to some Cicero! :D
